Welcome to the MVC Blog!

In an effort to keep the MVC family more informed (and entertained), we've created The MVC Blog. We'll use it to post race reports, photos, event information, and anything else that may or may not pertain to bike racing.

So far we have the following content experts, but anybody can contribute. Just send me your Google ID and I'll add you to the list.

Bryan "Doc" Perkins
Old School Racing Stories, Amusing Anecdotes, Expert Music Reviews

Brad "Seabass" Price
Back Porch Country Witticisms and Politically Incorrect Social Commentary

Mitch "Deuce" Blackwell
Diet, Fitness & Training Advice (and maybe a few pics for the ladies....)

Steve "OZ" Weber
Run Through a Brick Wall Motivational Talks, baking tips.

The Brothers Burke
Go Fast, Look Fabulous!

Okay... I made most of those up, but you get the point!

Don't forget to use the "Subscribe" options in the right margin to get notified when new posts or comments are added.

Any and all ideas for content and usage will be greatly appreciated.

  1. A little drive-by timewasting...

Thanks for the new play toy Rip Richie Rich... another tool in my arsenal to raise timewasting to an art form.

Some of you with a discerning eye -- tap, tap, this is on right? -- may have noticed that the Seabass's content description originally said back "port." That wasn't a typo... Seabass is that rare contradiction of country and culture who can tell you how to hunt and kill a opossum and then tell you which wine to enjoy with your grilled, fried or baked opossum dish.

Marco 'Polo' Corsi has a lot of guns... he was born in England.

Mike "Pantani" Adams has an ice axe.. he was born in Scotland.

Oz isn't telling... he grew up in Wisconsin, US of A, Earth.

Deuce, can't wait to see your pics of ladies... candid gym photos maybe? You really meant 'of' right Rip?

Bros Burke -- if I leave my long sleeved button up un-tucked, do I have to leave the sleeve buttons undone too? Or is un-tucked too '08?

Maverick asks that EVERYONE email him at clay.christopher@dallasmavs.com with new hairdo ideas for Carlisle and Cuban... something to make them look like middle-aged white guys, maybe

And Raintree asks that everyone send him really wordy text messages...
